Disposable plastic products must be made up of a minimum 50% recycled materials

I want to make it a legal requirement for businesses who produce disposable plastic products to use 50% recyclable materials to produce them. This will hopefully help to recycle plastic that is being dumped and produce less plastic across the UK.

Plastic coffee stirrers, water cups, cutlery, water bottles you name it. This stuff is mass-produced and sold at ridiculously cheap prices. These prices are not worth the damage it is doing to the environment, and should be made of mostly recyclable materials! Let's make it a legal requirement for businesses to ensure these products are made up of at least 50% recycled plastic.
