Access to an impartial, representative justice system is an inalienable democratic right. Cuts to legal aid have threatened the ability of countless people to be represented in a court of law or tribunal. This needs to end.

Legal aid has allowed for people that cannot afford to pay for a solicitor for legal advice or to represent them in a court of law, to have a voice. This is what protects our justice system... the ability to have a fair trial being extended to everyone man and woman up and down the country, no matter their background or financial status.

Over £1bn in cuts to legal aid over the last 5 years has been a disaster. Call on the government to protect our democratic justice system
