As someone who's done many an unpaid internships in the past and seen many of his friends who are recent graduates suffer through them, the detrimental effects of it on mental health and financial instability it causes is understated.

I'd like to propose a ban to any all unpaid work that advertises itself as for the sake of exposure or other.etc
Furthermore in doing so I believe that workplaces will benefit from better BAME representation too, as these internships/roles will be more accessible to those who wouldn't have otherwise had the luxury to afford it.
