Restrict the serving “terms” of an MP in the UK Parliament to three.

The American constitution restricts their President to retire after serving two terms. With the world changing so much, is now the time to consider reform of Westminster to improve its effectiveness. Does the electorate control the politicians or do the politicians control the electorate?

Many professions include enforced “retirements” reflecting changes to their operational environments.
Also reducing the political term would reduce the commercial advantage of operating in the political environment, which would also benefit standards applicable to the House of Commons.
