Employment figures should be HMRC data & not interviews of 40,000 households

“Output from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) is quarterly since 1992. Each quarter’s sample is made up of 5 waves. The sample is made up of approximately 40,000 responding UK households and 100,000 individuals per quarter."

HMRC have every taxpayer work in the UK on record. They use that to identify everyone’s salary and allocate tax codes. These tax codes could therefore be grouped together to give accurate figures as to who is employed, rather than use interviews of 40,000 households.
Members of Parliament would then be quoting more accurate employment figures to the House, rather than ones based on 40,000 interviews.
