New Secretary of State's priorities inquiry
International Development Committee (Select)
Not accepting submissions

This evidence session aimed to accomplish two things. The Committee began by questioning the new Secretary of State for International Development, Rt Hon Rory Stewart MP, on his priorities for the role and for the Department (as we did with the previous incumbent). This included questions about DFID’s commitments which the Committee has recently scrutinised such as climate change and disability.

All the good Tories, inc Rory Stewart, have been driven out by Johnson and his gang. The ones that are left, including all of the Cabinet, are of much inferior quality and lack any vision or principles. Result: the shameful shambles that passes for the UK government today. https://t.co/xsDY6LB3lQ
