Positive to see these policies prioritised for members to take forward to Labour Conference this year. I'm delighted that the party is recognising that the FPTP electoral system is a gross distortion of democracy and needs replacing by PR. It's essential if the UK is to continue. https://t.co/zmMr8jZ8wE
@boggleabout @DrRJSimpson @FreddieBailey96 @LabGrassroots Yes @MunicipalDreams has charted this sad decline to profiteering private landlords, especially in London. We need balanced communities, but in a planned way.
We're back out on the campaign trail. The streamlined lid has improved leafleting productivity! #BothVotesLabour https://t.co/TAltMBGtUN
@jruddy99 @paulhutcheon Och that's just a wee nip. This one was trying to get a pound of flesh for his tea. https://t.co/LIyk2aDfXA
@MyGlasgowCC @PJL1971 @GlasgowsMways @CllrGaryGray @LordProvostGCC Thanks
@brokenglasseye I wonder what the hold up is? Think they are still to finish Shakespeare Street School so maybe there are cash flow issues.
@DrRJSimpson @FreddieBailey96 @LabGrassroots All key to a community wealth building strategy for housing, and associated economic development locally.
@holyroodmandy That segway into a bitter, plaintive monologue after 15 seconds jars so awkwardly with the preamble about what is really important, which I thought would then turn to an optimistic exposition about the country's potential for recovery.
@VonnSand @Cat_Headley @_Norquoy @MiriamBrett...thoughts?
@VonnSand I wonder if it's price gouging due to the ferry company having a captive audience, or if it's reflective of the capacity of the local community to cope with intensive tourism? If the former then that really needs to be addressed as it's a private tax on economic opportunities.
