Written StatementsThe annual report of the Serious Organised Crime Agency for 2009-10 is being published and laid before Parliament today. As required by the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005, the report includes an assessment of the extent to which the annual plan for 2009-10 has been carried out. Copies of the report are available in the Vote Office.
The report covers the financial year immediately preceding the general election. We set out our plans for policing in our coalition agreement and we will review SOCA alongside our review of the wider policing landscape.
