Commons ChamberUnusually, we are ahead of time, but most of the principals are present and therefore we shall proceed.

Commons ChamberThe hon. Lady’s question has been grouped with 14 and therefore she asks her question now.
It is always useful to have a bit of information, and I endeavour to be helpful to Members. The hon. Lady need not sound quite so surprised.

Commons ChamberThe Minister has ploughed on, to his credit, but it has been difficult for him to be heard. His words should be heard, and I hope that there will be some courtesy from Members.
T6. I welcome the Minister’s offering IT procurement to small and medium-sized enterprises through the G-Cloud. Is he aware of a local constituency company called The Bunker secure hostings, which offers data for SMEs to access G-Gloud?

Commons ChamberOrder. Members need to be much briefer if we are to get through the questions.
T2. Will the Deputy Prime Minister update the House on the development of single pot funds and on what that will mean for east Kent in respect of the access to devolved money?
Communities in Sandwich, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate are keen to take up local neighbourhood planning. What would you say are the critical success factors, and what are you giving local authorities to support these communities develop exciting new planning?
Order. I am not giving local authorities anything for this purpose, but I have a feeling that the Minister will claim that he is.

Commons ChamberThank you, Mr Speaker. A year ago, I asked the Prime Minister for help when the announcement was made of the Pfizer closure in Sandwich. Does he agree that the support and help from his Ministers, which delivered us an enterprise zone and £40 million for jobs in east Kent, have ensured that we are still a leading centre for life sciences?

Commons ChamberI want to return to consumers and their costs. Will the Minister urge Ofgem to reconsider the unit as a specification? What does “a unit” mean? Could we not look at cost per bulb hour, and other things that consumers understand? That will drive behaviour change as well.

Commons ChamberOrder. Many colleagues are seeking to catch my eye, but I remind the House that there is a statement by the Foreign Secretary to follow, and a heavily subscribed continuation to the Budget debate. If I am to accommodate this level of interest, brevity will be of the essence.
Will the Leader of the House find time for a debate on the Department of Health’s drugs procurement process in relation to companies such as Pfizer, to ensure that corporate social responsibility comes into the process?

Commons ChamberOrder. I assume that the hon. Lady was here at the start of the business statement?

Commons ChamberT10. How will the Department impress on local authorities the need to commission as many of their services as possible from the voluntary sector, small business and community groups seriously to deliver more cost-effective, creative and innovative services at the front line?
