Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what recent steps he has taken to hold discussions with civil service unions on the pay remit guidance.

The Minister for the Cabinet Office met with the General Secretaries of the FDA, Prospect and PCS trade unions on 27th June to discuss the civil service delegated pay guidance 2018, which was published on 25th June. As agreed in this meeting, officials wrote to trade unions inviting further discussions on the process of publishing the 2019 Pay Remit Guidance on 17th July. We are awaiting a response to this letter.
