The Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice (Chris Grayling)
I am today publishing the Government response to the consultation paper “Transforming Legal Aid: Delivering a More Credible and Efficient System”, published on 9 April this year as well as further consultation on some revised proposals. Copies of “Transforming Legal Aid: Next Steps” will be placed in the Library and will be available in the Vote Office and Printed Paper Office.
I will make an oral statement to the House on this matter later today.
