Radicalism
Asked by: Lord Young of Acton (Conservative - Life peer) Wednesday 2nd July 2025 Question to the Home Office: To ask His Majesty's Government how many people have taken the Prevent refresher awareness course. Answered by Lord Hanson of Flint - Minister of State (Home Office) As of the 31 May 2025, the Prevent Refresher Awareness course has been completed 397,236 times. The total number of completions across the four Prevent duty training courses from August 2022 to the end of May 2025 is 2.3 million. Prevent training products are regularly updated to ensure they reflect the latest threat from terrorism and their content is kept under continuous review. By understanding the risk, as well as how to raise a concern, those under the Prevent duty play a key role in ensuring that people who are at risk of being radicalised can be diverted away from terrorism. |
