Select Committee Inquiry |
---|
20 Feb 2024
Implications of the war in Ukraine for UK Defence International Relations and Defence Committee (Select) Not accepting submissions The Committee’s inquiry will consider the interim lessons that can be drawn from the war in Ukraine for UK Defence. It will explore whether our assumptions regarding the nature of the Russia threat are still valid, and whether we are equipped to respond to it. It will examine the role played by new technologies on the Ukrainian battlefield, consider manpower requirements, the pressures on industry to replenish equipment and weapons stocks, and the adequacy of procurement processes—drawing both strategic and operational lessons for UK Defence. |
