Housing: Construction
Asked by: Lord Crathorne (Conservative - Excepted Hereditary)
Monday 10th February 2025

Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask His Majesty's Government what mechanisms they plan to put in place to ensure that the housing built to meet their targets will be of a high design standard; and whether they intend to seek the advice of bodies, such as the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust, to help ensure that new housing is an embellishment to the communities where it is built.

Answered by Baroness Taylor of Stevenage - Baroness in Waiting (HM Household) (Whip)

I refer the hon. Member to the Written Ministerial Statement made on 12 November 2024 (HCWS209).
