Lords ChamberThat was an extremely helpful intervention from the Leader of the Opposition. Let us move on.
My noble friend Lord Foulkes referred to me and the Leader of the House. I should explain to the House that I have since had a personal apology from the Leader of the House, although I cannot help thinking that it should have been in the House.
I take note of that. If we go down the route of business questions, perhaps without the abuse that goes on in the other place, we could have discussions in the usual channels.

Lords ChamberMy Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in the name of my noble friend on the Order Paper.
My Lords, before we turn to the instruments, which I am sure are very important, perhaps I could ask the noble Lord about an Urgent Question that I raised some weeks ago on car park access for Members of the House. I was promised then that there would be a review on 7 February. I gather that the committee met on that day but we still have not seen exactly what happened. Can the Minister tell us why it is being kept secret?
My Lords, I think that the term “secret” is rather emotive. As I understand it, the Chairman of Committees, who is a paragon of open government, held a meeting and the minutes will be published in the usual way.

Lords ChamberMy Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in the name of my noble friend Lord Strathclyde on the Order Paper.
While the noble Lord is on his feet, I wonder if he could reply to a business question. On 8 November the Leader of the House, the noble Lord, Lord Strathclyde, promised a debate on Europe. When will it take place?
I am reliably advised that the debate is included in the forthcoming business and will be held on 1 December.
