Lords ChamberMy Lords, speaking of innovation, Green Party-led Bristol City Council has had some success in creating housing for younger people by using ownership co-operatives and co-housing schemes. Is that something that the Government are looking into and perhaps encouraging in Labour-led councils?
There are a number of successful co-operative housing schemes across the country. The commonhold and leasehold Bill, which we will bring forward later this year, will have steps in it to ensure that we make it easier for these kinds of innovative housing approaches to take place.
