The Government should create a railcard for those over the age of 30. It seems unfair and unjust that people aged 16-30 may get a railcard, but after this cut-off it is not possible to get a railcard unless you are 'senior', travelling with another person, or part of another group, such as veterans.
Maintain the £3 bus fare cap permanently

(Estimated Final Signatures: 2,432 - 73 added in the past 24hrs)
As of the budget, we think that working people on lower incomes or who live in rural communities will suffer as a consequence of the decision to raise the bus fare cap to £3. We think bus fares should be permanently capped at £3 after December 2025.
Introduce presumed liability for civil cases from road traffic collisions
- 312 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 2,394 - 12 added in the past 24hrs)
Introduce presumed liability for civil cases relating to certain road collisions, to shift the burden of proof. It would mean when vulnerable road users, e.g cyclists & pedestrians, claim against a more powerful road user (a driver), the driver would be presumed liable unless they prove otherwise.
Stop individuals in non-fault accidents being charged more for car insurance
- 166 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 1,447 - 113 added in the past 24hrs)
I would like the government to require the motor insurance industry to change their policy procedures and not penalise innocent drivers who have been hit by other people's driving mistakes.
Extend the theory test expiry date from the current 2 years to 3 years
- 64 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 542 - 37 added in the past 24hrs)
I would like the Government to extend the theory test expiry date from the current 2 year period to 3 years. I believe extending this would be fair and just. Extending it could help the DVLA deal with the Covid backlog and third parties booking lots of slots and selling them on at higher prices.
Establish a capacity limit for trains.
- 65 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 533 - 22 added in the past 24hrs)
For Health and Safety we would like a capacity limit bringing in and this not to be left to the train operating companies’ judgment. We believe this could reduce the possibility of injury or fatality from a users experience at the moment in time.
Legalise use of privately owned e-scooters and e-bikes on public roads

(Estimated Final Signatures: 526 - 27 added in the past 24hrs)
Legalise the use of electric bikes and scooters for use of the public.
Change the legal driving age to 15
- 119 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 119 - 32 added in the past 24hrs)
I think the government should change the legal driving age to 15 because the legal age to drive is 17 and I think both 15 and 16 year olds will be able to drive.
Bring in laws to protect horses being ridden on roads
- Final Signatures: 28,807
Horses need legal protection from drivers who hit or kill horses being ridden on the roads, as it stands the only law is dangerous driving around horses which is hard to prove as the highway code only gives ADVICE on how to pass horses which means drivers cannot be prosecuted. laws need updating

Road tax is due to rise by over 700% with the governments new plans to classify motorhomes differently. The purpose of this petition is to keep it as it is to protect this industry and local tourism
