PM Boris Johnson recently promoted the idea of including calorie counts on restaurant menus to "tackle obesity". We, the undersigned, are asking that this does NOT happen. Calories are not a constructive way to determine full nutritional value, and we ask the government to consider other factors.

3.5 million people in the UK will be affected by a rare disease at some point in their lives. 95% of rare diseases have no treatment and 50% of those affected are children; 1 in 3 do not live to see their 5th birthday. These children can wait years for a diagnosis and some just never receive one.

We need more research done into why this is happening and recommendations to improve health care for Black Women as urgent action is needed to address this disparity.

The drug Kuvan allows people with the rare condition PKU to manage their condition. The treatment has been licensed for 11 years but has never been commissioned by the NHS.
The government should make funding available for this treatment for all PKU patients that could benefit.

Recent changes in pension taxation have reduced the annual allowance which can be put into a pension to £40,000 a year. In 2016 “tapering” was introduced which can further reduce the annual allowance to £10,000

Make qualified Dental Nurse wage a minimum of £12 per hour.

Dental nurses earn on average around £9 per hour regardless of whether this is NHS or private practice and the wage does not reflect the experience or the additional qualifications/duties of the nurse. Dental practices quite simply could not run without the nurses. Their pay should reflect this!

PDA needs to be recognised in the UK as a specific, diagnosable condition and added to the diagnostic manual. This needs government intervention to pursue this. PDA has been recognised as a form of autism for over 30 years, yet getting a diagnosis through the NHS is a postcode lottery.

Public areas & Food places to have Epi Pens for food allergies

My son was diagnosed with a Nut allergy after he had a reaction in 2018. This can lead to Anaphylaxis & it is life threatening. An Epi Pen is an adrenaline injection which is vital after a reaction. I think public places should have epi pens available.
