Stop the sale and use of fireworks apart from for the 5th of November and New Year's Eve due to people using them too frequently. I think this would give people with animals the time to prepare themselves the best they can. One or two nights a year of fireworks is more than enough.

The legal age to get a tattoo in the UK is 18. In other countries and states you can get a tattoo at 16 with parental consent and even without parental consent in some countries. 16 year olds should be allowed to get a tattoo at 16 with parental consent, just like they can get piercings.
Install microplastic filters on new washing machines as standard

Each machine wash can shed up to 700,000 microplastics into our ecosystem. Microplastics are now in our rivers and oceans, our fish, our salt, our food chain - and yes - our poos! 91% of marine particles and 92% of freshwater particles are microplastics. We need to stem the flow at the source.
