The following is an extract from the Twentieth Delegated Legislation Committee on the draft State Aid (Agriculture and Fisheries) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.

Indeed, one nugget that we did spot was the change that is under way in the European Commission to increase the de minimis fishing limit from €25,000 to €30,000 and we have managed to include that.

Letter of correction from the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

An error has been identified in my response to the hon. Member for Plymouth, Sutton and Devonport (Luke Pollard).

The correct statement should have been:

Yesterday, I said that we spotted that the European Commission was increasing the de minimis payment level for fishing communities, and we made that correction before the matter came to Committee.
