define the term “green spaces” to include urban parks, neighbourhood areas, and significant natural landscapes; to establish a Government Office for Green Spaces and to make provision about the powers and duties of that Office in relation to local authorities and public bodies; to require that Office to advise the Government on the preservation, enhancement, and accessibility of green spaces; to make provision about the promotion of community involvement in protection of green spaces; and for connected purposes.
