To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, how many apprentices with special educational needs or disabilities have not completed their NHS apprenticeship placements.

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many apprentices employed by (a) his Department and (b) its executive agencies and associated bodies are aged (i) 16 to 18, (ii) 19 to 24 and (iii) 25 years or older; and how many of those apprentices employed in each form of body and of each age group were previously employed by the Government.

The Department is strongly committed to supporting the recruitment of apprentices.
The table below shows how many apprentices are employed by (a) his Department and (b) its executive agencies in the age groups (i) 16 to 18, (ii) 19 to 24 and (iii) 25 years or older.

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, how many apprentices each department has accepted as part of the Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeship Scheme; and how many such apprenticeships were taken up by (a) women and (b) men in each year since that scheme started.

The pilot cohort of 100 Civil Service Fast Track Apprentices began their apprenticeships in September 2013. Eight Government Departments across England are participating in the pilot over a two year period. The table below shows the number of Fast Track Apprentices who took up post in each Department in September 2013.
