Increase benefits in line with current levels of inflation - Final Signatures: 13,879

The Government must increase benefits in line with current levels of inflation (at least 6.2), to help stop the cost of living crisis becoming a poverty emergency.

Change the way universal credit works for 4 weekly paid employees. - Final Signatures: 105

4 weekly paid employees sometimes get paid twice in a universal credit calendar month so they don't receive any benefit money, this is unfair as the bills don't stop or food costs. We don't have funds to save for those months otherwise we wouldn't need to rely on the government to feed ourselves.

Set a cap for liquidator fees - Final Signatures: 32

Currently the law sets out how fees can be calculated, but it doesn't set a cap on those fees. I've found it can take years and you might not retrieve enough money to pay the liquidator fees. I want a cap on the portion liquidators can take from investment retrieved in the liquidation process.

Stop family homes being converted into HMO's (House in Multiple Occupation) - Final Signatures: 83

In our area, almost every time a house goes up for sale it is bought by investors and changed into an HMO with no regard to the local community. Currently, in a stretch of 10 properties, there is now only one family house left. The wider picture needs to be looked at before the plans are passed.
