Question to the Home Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many victims of trafficking, if any, have been referred to the National Referral Mechanism having entered the United Kingdom at any time on a visa intended for sports people.
This question was answered on 13th July 2015
We are unable to provide the information requested as it would require a manual review of all referrals and associated records going back to 2009, which would only be achievable at a disproportionate cost.
