Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask Her Majesty's Government in which local authority areas are the highest number of new homes being built on the green belt.
This question was answered on 4th July 2018
The Department produces statistics on the estimated percentage of new residential addresses created on Green Belt land, broken down by local authority area, and averaged over four years. Figures for the 2013-14 to 2016-17 period are given in the attached table.
