Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the decision of the Welsh Government to ban the use of combustible cladding on high rise residential buildings.

On 18 June my Department published a consultation on banning the use of combustible materials in the external walls of high-rise residential buildings. This is available (attached) at:

As a Devolved Administration the decisions of the Welsh Assembly Government are an issue devolved for their own consideration.
