Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they plan to maintain in law the provisions of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive after the UK has left the EU.

The outcome of negotiations with the European Union (EU) will determine what detailed arrangements apply in relation to EU legislation, including the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, in future once the UK has left the EU.
