Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Baroness Anderson of Stoke-on-Trent of 8 June (HL446), whether eligibility for the unethical research award extends to deceased people impacted by infected blood who were not themselves infected, such as carers of infected people.

The supplementary autonomy award for victims of unethical research is only available for infected people. This includes claims from living infected people or estates of deceased infected people.
