Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask Her Majesty's Government, in the light of the published cost of policing the badger cull in Cheshire of £831,000 for 48 days in 2017, what assessment they have made of the cost benefit analysis of pursuing that cull.

An analysis of the costs and benefits of extending badger control in 2018 will be published later this year.
