The Government set out the UK’s approach to the future security partnership in the Foreign Policy, Defence and Development paper of September 2017. The Prime Minister further expanded on this most recently in her Munich speech on 17th February.

The Government has committed to hold a vote on the final deal in Parliament as soon as possible after the negotiations have concluded. This vote will cover both the Withdrawal Agreement and the terms of our future relationship.
