The UK Government, including through the British Embassies in Baku and Yerevan, and our delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), continues to highlight our concern over the ongoing tensions on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to reiterate the importance of regional stability and security in our contacts with partners in the region. In his future engagements with representatives of the Armenian and Azerbaijani governments, the Minister for Europe will underline UK concerns and urge the parties to engage substantively, without preconditions, with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to find a sustainable, peaceful settlement to the conflict.
