Under Sections 6 and 7 of the European Union Referendum Act 2015, the Government has a duty to publish information on what has been agreed by Member States following negotiations on the UK’s request for reforms; the Government’s opinion on what has been agreed; the UK’s rights and obligations as a member of the EU; and examples of non-EU countries that have other arrangements with the EU. As stipulated in the Act, this information will be published before the beginning of the final 10 week period ending with the date of the referendum.
