The Housing White Paper - Fixing our broken housing market - sets out the steps we are taking to stimulate the growth of modern methods of construction. The use of modern methods of construction, including off-site construction techniques, has the potential to speed up the supply of high-quality, high-performance homes. Building homes under factory conditions improves consistency and predictability in housing design and manufacture, and can lead to higher energy efficiency, saving consumers money on energy bills.
