The Secretary of State has received a request to call in a planning application for residential dwellings at land off Park Avenue, Mossley Hill, Liverpool. I understand that this is generally referred to as Sefton Park Meadows.

The application is still under consideration by Liverpool City Council and it is not the policy of the Government to intervene at such an early stage in the process. In the meantime it would be inappropriate of me to comment on the application as it may come before the Secretary of State in the future.
