To ask His Majesty's Government, in light of their acceptance of all the recommendations made in the Hodge Report on Arts Council England, what progress they have made towards establishing the advisory group referred to in recommendation 11; who will be the members of the advisory group; and when its work will commence.

The Department for Education (DfE) and DCMS are working in partnership to ensure there is strategic alignment across government funded programmes, including the Arts Council, to support arts education and enrichment, in schools and communities.

DCMS and DfE are working together on a cross departmental basis to establish the advisory group, to ensure all children everywhere can benefit from strong arts education and enrichment. Details regarding membership of the advisory group, its terms of reference, work plan and timeframe will be shared in due course.
