Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what is their estimate of the number of UK nationals resident in South Korea.

We do not require British nationals to register their presence with our Embassy in South Korea and therefore do not hold statistics on the number of UK nationals resident in South Korea. However, the Republic of Korea Immigration Service offers estimates every month. Their latest figures from 31 October estimated that the number of UK nationals resident in South Korea was 7,111.
