Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many of the promised 5,000 extra doctors will be medical assistant posts.
This question was answered on 19th December 2016
The Government has committed to providing an additional 5,000 doctors working in general practice by 2020.
Medical assistants do not form part of this commitment.
