Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the impact of NHS England’s Action for Diabetes on the commissioning decisions made by clinical commissioning groups.

It is for clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) to commission services that they assess are needed to meet the needs of their local populations. Action for Diabetes was published for CCGs, as a reference to the work that is going on across NHS England, and for the wider community interested in diabetes care, to show what action NHS England is taking in this important area.
