The Government maintains a close dialogue with a range of stakeholders on a range of alcohol issues. We have not received direct representations from the Chief Medical Officer, Public Health England, the British Medical Association and the Children’s Commissioner for England and Wales on the issue of liqueur confectionery. We welcome input from all interested stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
