Hebron: Mosques

Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they are making to the government of Israel regarding (1) the denial of access to Palestinians for worship in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, and (2) the prevention of the call to prayer, since 1 September.

Our Embassy in Tel Aviv and Consulate General in Jerusalem regularly raise issues of religious freedom with the Israeli Government and the Palestinian Authority. We continue to call on all sides to uphold the historic status quo at the Holy Sites.
