The Regulator of Social Housing’s (RSH) Safety and Quality Standard currently requires registered providers of social housing to ensure that tenants’ homes meet the Decent Homes Standard (DHS). RSH seeks assurance that all registered providers of social housing are delivering the outcomes set out in their standards. Government will direct the RSH to update their standards to include the new Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard in due course.
