Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask His Majesty's Government what funds are available for organisations that aim to reduce air pollution in England.

The Government has allocated £883 million of funding for local authorities under the 2017 UK Plan for Tackling Roadside Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂) Concentrations.

Defra also annually runs a Local Air Quality Grant to help local authorities across England reduce air pollution in their areas. This year we have committed to spending at least £6 million to fund projects targeting particulate matter, behavioural change campaigns and those aimed at reducing levels of NO₂. The successful local authorities for this year will be announced in due course.
