Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government what specific roles in the diplomatic service the Office of the Prime Minister considered facilitating for Lord Doyle.

I refer the Noble Lord to the answers given on this matter by the former Prime Minister on 22 April 2026 at Prime Minister's Questions, Official Report, Column 314, copied below:

"Matthew Doyle worked for many years in public service for me as Prime Minister and other Ministers. When people leave roles in any organisation, there are often conversations about other roles that they want to apply for, but nothing came of this."
