Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:
To ask His Majesty's Government what plans they have to represent Scottish onshore wind within the Strategic Spatial Energy Plan.

The UK, Scottish and Welsh Governments jointly commissioned NESO to produce the first Strategic Spatial Energy Plan for Great Britain. It will identify potential zonal locations; types of generation and storage needed for a secure and affordable energy system.
Scottish onshore wind will be considered alongside other eligible technologies, accounting for technical, economic, environmental and societal factors.
