To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have, if any, to address the availability of professional indemnity insurance for building safety inspectors.

Professional indemnity insurance for Approved Inspectors is principally a matter for the firms concerned and their insurers. We are aware that some firms are struggling to secure insurance, and we are working with Approved Inspectors and insurers to understand the issue and to consider whether and how we can help to overcome it.
