Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will ensure that the government of Spain is not allowed to extract concessions on Gibraltar when pursuing future defence, security and intelligence agreements.

The British Government is absolutely steadfast in our support for Gibraltar, its people and its economy. To that end, we have been clear that the priorities of the Government of Gibraltar will be properly taken into account in all future discussions, including those on security matters.
