Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government, in light of the warning by the UN Security Council over the imminent risk of mass atrocities in the Sudanese city of El Obeid, what urgent diplomatic steps the UK has taken to prevent such atrocities; and, in particular, what discussions they have had with the government of the United Arab Emirates.
