Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the health needs of the United Kingdom's Chinese community.
There are no plans to establish a national strategy for dealing with health issues amongst the United Kingdom’s Chinese communities and no assessment of their needs has been made at national level. The Government believes that local commissioners are best placed to assess and deal with the needs of their local populations.
