We welcome ongoing discussions between Indian and Chinese military commanders along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), and efforts to deescalate tensions, including the ninth round of Corps Commander-Level talks on 24 January. The status of the border is a bilateral matter for India and China to resolve and we continue to support a peaceful resolution between India and China of the border question.
