Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the advice of the Electoral Commission that the transition to individual electoral registration should not be brought forward from 1 December 2016.

The Government informed the House on 16 July of its plans to end the transition to Individual Electoral Registration in December 2015. The Written Ministerial Statement can be found on parliament.uk.
